■Introductory Class2 |
Students learn basic movements and techniques of oriental dance. They also practice short combinations making the most of those techniques. |
■Beginner's Class |
Stepping up from the introductory class, students practice more varied techniques and more developed combinations. They also learn how to use veils and zill( finger cymbals). |
■Intermediate Class |
Students complete the choreography of a piece in 2-3 months. In this class, they learn intermediate level techniques and steps, developing their ability to express themselves according to the movements. |
■Advanced Class |
Students complete the choreography of a piece in 1-2 months. Not only they practice advanced techniques, but also they seek for the accuracy of the movement and rhythm, and cultivate their charm as a performer. This class is best for the one who would like to be a professional dancer. |
Memorandums
Please read the following rules before you join a member of our school.
- The one who would like to join our school will read these rules beforehand. Then, please fill out the application form and hand it to the instructor with an entrance fee and a monthly tuition.
- You will pay monthly tuition by the end of each month (please hand it to the instructor). We will not refund it even when you are absent yourself from the lesson(s).
- Whichever course (4 –times-a-month / 8-times-a-month / 12-times-a-month) you take, please attend the classes within the month. You do not need to make a reservation to attend the class. In case you are absent yourself from the lesson(s), you can take supplementary lesson(s). If you are to take our lessons 4 times a month, you can take one supplementary lesson within next month; 8 times or 12 times a month, you can take 2 supplementary lessons within next month. You can attend any class(s) except for the advanced classes.
- If there are 5 weeks a month, our studio is closed for a week. (It is not always the last week of the month.)
- In case you would like to take temporary withdrawal, please tell your instructor in previous month. You can leave school for 3 months at the longest without paying the fee. In case you can not attend more than 3 months, we are sorry that we will regard you as withdrawing from us.
- Please enter/leave the studio 15 minutes before/after the lesson. Do not make a noise around the studio in consideration for the neighborhood.
- If you are still in your minority, permission of your curator would be needed.

Notice
- If you would like to perform the piece you have learned in your lesson, please ask for the permission of your instructor who choreographed that work.
- We are not responsible for any injuries, theft and so on.
- We will not bear the liability for the injuries, theft and so on that happened in the studio.
- If you would like to have private lessons, please ask your instructor.
- Photography without instructor's permission is forbidden in the studio .
Personal Information Protection
- According to personal information protection, we will keep your personal data closely. We will use it only for the communications. If there is any change in your personal data, please notify it to your instructor.

Please get off at Nishi-shinjuku station of Marunouchi line.
Studio Safiyah is two minutes walk from the station, the end of the alley next to the approach to Naruko Shrine.
